Hello, my name is Jack Cunningham senior at FGCU currently taking univeristy colloquium. I am a construction management major looking to go into project management for Pulte homes. My understandings of colloquium before taking this class were that: it was required by the school, you went on field trips, and learned about nature and environmental stuff. Now two weeks into the course those preconceptions are mostly true, but a very basic description of the course. For example, I thought colloquium was just an FGCU class, but it turns out every school has their own version of it, ours being focused on the environment. And I will be honest I thought the class was a cash grab from the school; for me I've taken sustainable approach to construction which I thought would fill that gap of protecting the environment through my majror.
